Amphetamines are a potent central nervous system stimulate found in prescription medications such as Adderall, Ritalin, Concerta as well as illegal street drugs. While safe for us to treat ADHD/ADD, narcolepsy and even to promote weight loss in obesity situations, these drugs can be fatal to our four legged family members, and any ingestion should be addressed by a vet immediately.
